Introducing Realizing Rural: New Executive Leadership of Fort Pierre Tourism
We are thrilled to announce that Jasmin Fosheim and Cassidy Blade with their grant writing and consulting business Realizing Rural have stepped in as the new executive leadership for Fort Pierre Tourism! Born and raised in the area, Jasmin and Cassidy bring a wealth of passion and knowledge to the organization, along with a shared vision for enhancing the vibrancy of our region.
A Love for Rural Communities
Both Jasmin and Cassidy have deep roots in the local area, and their affection for rural living shines through in everything they do. Growing up in the area, they have witnessed firsthand the unique charm and tight-knit spirit that defines our communities. Their experiences have fueled their commitment to fostering growth and opportunity, not just for tourism but for all residents.
“Rural communities are rich in culture, history, and resilience,” says Jasmin. “We want to celebrate that and showcase everything our area has to offer.” Cassidy adds, “Our goal is to create and highlight local experiences that connect people to the heart of Fort Pierre, whether they’re lifelong residents or first-time visitors.”

Jasmin and Cassidy take the helm at an exciting time for Fort Pierre Tourism. They are succeeding a strong leadership team that has laid the groundwork for success, and they are eager to build on those achievements. “We have a great legacy to uphold and an incredible foundation to build upon,” says Cassidy. “We’re grateful for the hard work that’s already been done and are excited to bring our fresh perspectives to the table.”

By tapping into the rich resources and talents that exist within our community, they aim to create initiatives that promote tourism while also benefiting local residents.
